About the Author

Steve Ramirez was born and raised in the San Diego, California area.  Growing up, he was fascinated with prehistoric animals, particularly those of the Eocene Epoch.  His love of the outdoors has consistently drawn him to books on wilderness survival and decision making.  He resides in Fresno, California with his wife Elizabeth and works in medical sales as a plasma specialist for genetic disease.  The Great Migration is Mr. Ramirez’s first novel.
